HOWTO ORDER:  The prints are:   $2.00 EACH, regardless of the number ordered !!!!!  Each print is 11"x17" in format, 67# heavy acid-free art stock.  The S/H charge is just $3.50 for the first print, and only $.15 for EACH PRINT THEREAFTER.  The $3.50 first print cost includes the heavy duty shipping tube and plastic end caps.  I ship first-class, USA postal zips ONLY, no exceptions. And I WILL NOT  mail to a P.O.Box address.  I ship 12 prints max per tube.  A 13th print requires a new tube.  You'll find every type of custom, hot rod, street rod, street machine, muscle car, or racing car in my portfolio of automotive art prints for sale.

HERE'S HOW THIS ALL LOOKS:    Pretend you are ordering NINE prints.  You would email me at the address shown below and give me a list of the prints you want.  You would put down something like this:   #17 1957 Chevy, #31 1932 Ford, #45 fuel dragster, #55 1952 Chevy, #97 1972 Mustang, #108 funny car, #141 1941 Ford, #182 1958 Chevy, #196 fuel dragster.    In your email, you would also give me the total you came up with, and you list it as $22.70.  That would be correct.  Prints are $2 x 9= $18.00, then S/H is $3.50+($.15x8)= $4.70, for a grand total of $22.70.  Your email will list the prints and the cars on them, your total, your name, street address,  city, state, and zip.  Now I have all that..........plus, I have your email address from your correspondence to me.  I counter-email you and tell you let's call it $22.00 even.......I discount for multiple print orders very often, which is good for you !!  My return email will set the final amount due, tell you my mailing address, and you have 10 days to send the payment back.  When I do this, I also will be sending you AN INVOICE NUMBER.......you simply put that ON YOUR PAYMENT so I know who you are.  I accept PERSONAL CHECKS (give 2-3 weeks to clear) and MONEY ORDERS .  I'll eventually have PayPal and do international shipping, but not for now.   THAT'S IT.........PRETTY
    SIMPLE, REALLY !!!

MY EMAIL ADDRESS FOR ORDERING IS:            rickwilson@rickwilsoncustomcarart.com

I DO COMMISSION WORK, TOO.  I charge as little as $10 and as much as $25 per view when doing custom work.  Email me with your wishes.......and I'll be glad to schedule you in.

My art work comes in 11"x17" format, black ink on white background.  The CONTROL NUMBER shown in the rendering IS NOT ON YOUR PRINT. You'll want to frame your prints when they arrive........ I buy my frames at Wal-Mart's home improvement section.  They are thin black frames, glass facings, and are $3.99.  It takes ten seconds to pop the glass out, insert a replacement print, and close it back up.  Really slick.  Page 1 on my site shows samples of what that looks like.

ORDER WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND SAVE...........S/H adds up (the U.S.P.O. isn't cheap), so don't hesitate to combine orders with friends, family, car club members, etc.  Just put one of you in charge and you're good to go.  These prints make terrific birthday, anniversary, car club, work place, shop, and office gifts for friends and family.  I will be adding content throughout the year, so stay in touch and write down this website's URL" www"  address for future reference.  Don't see something that interests you?  I take requests and ideas.  Simply email me at      rickwilson@rickwilsoncustomcarart.com

WHO IS THIS NUTTY CAR ARTIST, ANYWAY???    Well, I was raised the first part of my childhood in North Long Beach, just off Artesia and Atlantic.  I was across the street from a Clock Drive-In, and 3 blocks from Larry Watson's very first shop on Artesia Blvd.  I rode my bicycle to the shops of Watson, Barris, George Cerny, Gaylord's Upholstery, the original Speed Service Center, Dick Jackson, House of Chrome, Ed Roth, and numerous wrecking yards and repair shops.  Nothing beats leaning in on your bike and smelling the lacquer paint coming out from the paint booth or seeing a future cover car being worked over and still in primer !!  The later part of growing up was when the family moved north to Durham CA and I rode into town on a Saturday to Chico, 7 miles up the road, and I made friends at the shops of Riley Collins, Ray Orput, and Bill Luckinbill's Custom Upholstery.

I founded a 400-member car club, the now-defunct Nor Cal Gang, and my wife and I, along with my business partners Jack and Mary Hoffman, founded the former Western Vehicle Assn and Pacific Customs, which held 158 outdoor car shows over 6 years in CA-OR-AZ-NV and had over 4300 members signed up over that time. We gave out over 3000 awards to our winners over that time.  Insurance premiums railed against us and I had to fold tent.  I didn't have attendance gates, my shows were free to the public, so our cash flow was small.  The insurance industry classified me the same as drag racing events and ran me out of business.  They didn't want to have a claim (I was claim-free all that time) and have the attorneys litigate the insurance company into the ground and suck the money dry.  Ahhhh.........wished I was able to afford to stay astride the NSRA and GoodGuys and pull a gate and advertiser charges like they do.  It was fun while it lasted.  Our members took over 100 magazine covers and feature stories during that time !!

I was the ISCA international indoor van division show champion two years running, and I owned a slew of customs and street machines and Corvettes over time, including a Rod Powell customized 1956 Chevy which was actually my wife Barbara's car.  It's the one shown on the top  of each web page.  It was in Ohio last time I saw it, which was in a magazine feature story on the Custom Car Corral at the Detroit Autorama.................someone named Tom had it.  Anyone know its whereabouts?  I belong to GoodGuys, iHubGarage, JalopyJournal and H.A.M.B.  In the past I have belonged to the ISCA, NHRA, Western Street Machine Assn, West Coast Kustoms, Kustom Kemps of America, etc.  I have also been a journalist with Drag News, Drag World, and National Dragster over time.

GOT A WEBSITE FOR YOUR BUSINESS????    I'D ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT IF YOU WOULD LINK BACK MY SITE ONTO YOURS.  It'll help me build this new little enterprise...........need all the help I can get !!  :)    Thanks for visiting Rick Wilson Custom Car Art.
